Funds for congo project donated

Vegfam organisation have donated over £10,000 for a project in the war-torn area of north Kivu in DR Congo. The project aims to provide land, tools and seeds to refugees who are returning to their home areas to try and restart their lives. Conditions in the area are very difficult, many people have lost absolutely all they had and we very much hope this project will bring some peace and hope to people who have been living in atrocious conditions in the refugee camps.
