Ihumure Vocational Training College update

The Ihumure Vocational Training College is now nearing external completion with the roof recently having gone on. The builders have done a great job!
There is still some internal work to be done and if you would like to help fund some of that, such as a kitchen for the hospitality and catering training, we would welcome that.
We hope to begin short term training aimed at getting ex-street children and other poor youth equipped as quickly as possible with employable skills. After 12 months we will then introduce longer programmes of training with qualifications aimed at up-skilling and providing opportunities for entry into higher skilled jobs. There is a sponsorship programme now set up and if you would like to support someone's training please let us know.
We believe this is a wonderful opportunity to see the potential of many ex-street kids released into good jobs and enable them to break free from the poverty cycle which has often held grip over their whole families for generations.
